[As far as Adora's concerned, it's not a matter of "can" or "can't", but rather what she will do. And what she'll do is never have to fight Catra ever again. It's a promise she makes to the both of them--because she can't do it again.

[That... that does sound like Catra. It'd be a lie to say that Adora's not disappointed, but she also gets it. It sounds like Catra, and therefore it's not Catra fronting or getting herself into deeper trouble because she thinks she knows better.
