I guess I did get kind of used to sleeping on a bed normally.

... Yeah! Yeah. Exactly. And like... you came over to this dorm, so I don't want you to have to sleep just at the foot of the bed like that.

[scoots. . . gently. . . towards the top of the bed, wiggling underneath the covers like the cat that she is]

[and then she steals Adora's pillow]

[This is the fondest anyone has ever looked when someone else steals their pillow in bed.

[no she does perceive and that look makes her heart go pitter patter, it's fine]

[she rests her head against the pillow and gently wiggles to make room for Adora. come!! under the covers!!]

[And, obediently, she scooches under the covers!

And just kind of props her chin on her hand as she smiles (gayly) at Catra as she gets settled in.]

Adora squawks a little when Catra flops on top of her, and then shoves her (gently) to her own side of the bed.]

I was getting to it before you so rudely interrupted me!

[a surprised squawk of her own, the noise almost offended, as Adora pushes her away. hey??? hey!!!]

Hey! You were the one who told me to sleep up here instead of down there!

[just. tries climbing on top of Adora again??]

[oh my god. Adora just lets it happen this time, rolling her eyes (fondly).]

You're ridiculous. You have your own side of the bed.

[But it's fine.]

Aaaw, but I like this side more.

[flashing Adora a curved, Cheshire-cat smile as her tail curls behind her]

Adora just flops back to the bed, waving a limp hand.]

If you just let me sleep, it's fine. Everything's fine. It's still my side though so I'm not moving.

[and then rather suddenly she finds herself dipping her head down and BITING HER ON THE SHOULDER. right at the slope where shoulder meets neck]

Adora squawks immediately, shoving at Catra.]

[A beat.

She... bites her lip.

And then leans over to return the favor, biting Catra (gently!) on the forearm.

... BLEH. FUR.]

[THIS IS THE SECOND TIME YOU'VE BITTEN FUR ADORA MAYBE YOU SHOULD STOP DOING THAT???]

[Catra squeaks in surprise as she's shoved away, blinking a little like she isn't quite sure what to make of?? what just happened?? her bite was definitely hard enough to leave a bruise, so enjoy that, Adora]

Why does that keep-- I keep doing that, and it's so weird.

[Adora's definitely touching her neck to see if any blood was drawn (none, thankfully), before rolling her eyes.]

You have fangs, you know.

Uh, yeah? Cats have fangs, Adora. It's kind of our thing.

[settling at Adora's side now that she's done being a PEST]

Well it hurt! Stop biting me so hard!

[But now that Catra's comfortably done being a pest, Adora settles in more too.]

[also there's something weird glowing on her back now that evening has set in, and since they're not tussling around anymore, Adora can probably see it a little better. . .]
