[WHICH IS TO SAY!! post-party game wednesday, Taichi finds himself being. . . stalked? followed?? something?? throughout the afternoon, a very non-conspicuous shadow following him wherever he goes]
...that is to say, for a while, taichi actually does not realize he's being followed. like he's distracted or something. after a little while though, his spidey-sense seems to tingle and he gets the hint there's something there.
but he doesn't call her out yet. it's only when they're far enough from the most crowded areas of campus that he turns his head very, very slightly to try and see out of the corner of his eye.]
[a cute giggle-snort drifts from a nearby bush/tree/PLANT OF SOME KIND. . . and then Catra steps out from behind it, hands on her hips and tail swishing at her back]
[don't worry about it. but she is 100% valid even if the look he gives her is mildly annoyed. he also doesn't actually do anything to push her off yet and decides frowning at her is the best course of action.]
Ha. Ha. Yeah, okay. [...but he's easygoing enough he's not actually too mad.] You startled me. I didn't expect anybody out here right now.
[SOMETIME BEFORE ANIME NIGHT, Catra is seeking out Taichi, wherever he may be on this glorious Tuesday of week 3! she is wearing the dunce hat. she hates it. just ignore it]
[but she also doesn't have her sling anymore, even though she's still limping. the limp is probably the only reason he's not being pounced]
[catra your hat. taichi's probably sitting somewhere near the ice rink and just staring at it. there's maybe a bench here. i'm making one up now. but he does look up at her and give her a somewhat lopsided grin.]
[after some things have calmed down...taichi will find himself heading for the detention room. there's a vast amount of guilt still that he's busy squashing down, along with his own kind of weird grief and exhaustion. by the time he reaches the room, all of his emotions are flatlined into something harder to read and as he enters the room he pauses just long enough in the doorway to look at her.]
[funny story! Catra is feeling nothing but numbness, too! she's exhausted her emotions to the point of where there's nothing left, so. . . when Taichi speaks, her ears twitch]
[. . .]
Can I actually do anything to stop you?
[quiet. flat. but not harsh. she's worn herself out]

I wanted to see how long it'd take you to notice.
You're super slow, by the way.

How do you know I wasn't just waiting to see what you'd do?

week one, thursday
[what do you do when a cat comes LEAPING AT YOU FROM NOWHERE and tries to pounce you to the ground??]
no subject
second of all, there's a loud squawk as a flying cat tackles him to the ground, his soccer ball rolling away sadly. ]
Catra, what was that for?
no subject
[Catra is completely unaware of any of these issues, so she is just out here living her best Catra life as she cackles triumphantly]
The look on your face. . .!
[she is sitting on him again]
no subject

[but she also doesn't have her sling anymore, even though she's still limping. the limp is probably the only reason he's not being pounced]
Sooo, how are we feeling today?
no subject
Still making sure I'm myself, Catra?
no subject
Hey, can you blame me?
[perches herself on the edge of the bench]
Are you?
no subject
No. As in no, I can't blame you. I think I'm still pretty much myself. No extra school spirit or anything.
